A.T.C. offers several ways to pay for flying. Our most cost effective is the Club program but in this economy many people are concerned about making a 6 month commitment. While we do promote the Club you are free to fly and pay hourly if you prefer. Time with a Flight Instructor is $50 per hour with discounts available. Below are the available options:
|Aircraft Cost (Fuel Not Included)**||CFI Cost||Commitment||Hour Limits***|
||$48.00||6 month contract- Extends to monthly if needed||up to 15 hours per month|
172's- As low as $89/hour (Retail $99)
182- $115 per hour
|$50||No contract (10 hour blocks) available at a discounted rate||No hour limits on hourly customers. Overnight fees (or minimum flight hours) will apply to overnight trips.|
|Buddy Plan||172's $425 per person/Month||$48.00||6 Month Contract||5 hours per person per month|
|One Price Plan||172's Private Pilots license- $6900- Fuel & ground instruction not included**||Incl||
See hour limits. Contract with terms will be signed prior to start of training
|Up to 50 hours in 172 and 40 hours with CFI. Can be paid in 3 installments. Up to 1 year to complete. If license not attained in hours listed, discounts available for remainder of training. Does not include ground instruction or pre/post flight briefings.|
** Whether you fly hourly or in the club, fuel is not included in the price. HydeAirfield has a self service fuel dispenser which takes all major credit cards. A.T.C. is required to charge $1 per gallon over cost if fuel is purchased through us. The price of fuel fluctuates so much that it is to your advantage to buy the fuel from the airport and allow us to keep our prices consistent.
*** Flight time isn't limited so much as scheduling is. The primary goal is to ensure fair usage of the aircraft for all pilots. A.T.C. will do everything possible to ensure everyone can fly. If aircraft become too busy we will add aircraft.
